The first two phases of the Site Decommissioning Project are complete:
- The ‘Clean to Shell’ phase involved the removal of all internal fixtures and fittings from all buildings on-site.
- The ‘Demolition’ phase involved the removal of 10 buildings, 300,000 m2 of covered office/buildings, and approximately 210km of pipework.
The completion of these phases paved the way for the commencement of the third, and final, ‘Remediation’ phase.
